Dear ladies and gentlemen,

In 2025, the Agricultural University – Plovdiv proudly celebrates its 80th anniversary since its establishment, with a free spirit and intellectual challenges, with proven high public recognition as a leading center in the agricultural education, science and business in the country and abroad, and a preferred international partner.

The University’s successes are sustainable because we preserve the 80-year traditions built up by the work of generations of scientists and teachers, and together we create the present with confidence in the future of the Agricultural University – Plovdiv.

Under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mr. Rumen Radev, a Scientific Conference with international participation „Traditions meet Innovations“ will be held at the Agricultural University – Plovdiv in the period from 28 October to 31 October. On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I have the honor to extend to you a cordial invitation to participate.

The conference is a meeting place for scientists from Bulgaria and abroad to present the results of their research, share their scientific achievements and innovations, discuss and propose solutions for transforming agrifood systems for healthier food and cleaner natural resources.

The conference program provides an opportunity for the exchange of knowledge and experience among scientists, for meetings with businesses, for the participation of young scientists in scientific research and innovation, and for cultural exchange.
